Thank you!!! When I saw the pictures dad took of her with it, I realized just how much she loved it!!! And Phyllis, it is called a rag quilt(very appropriate). I made it block by block, so i had the bottom square, the batting, and the top square. I put them together, quilted them, and sewed them together with the seam on the top. Then, we snipped the edges about every quarter of an inch. When washed, it looks "raggy".
