This week we started a new tradition. Sunday July 15th is National Ice Cream Day. It is also Paul Rigel's birthday. We made a freezer of homemade ice cream (chocolate!) and consumed it in memory of Paul. It seemed a fitting thing to do.

Paul is David's dad and he went home to be with the Lord last November. I have never seen people eat ice cream like the Rigel family can. I think the family record for ridiculous ice cream consumption is somewhere around 23 half gallons during one weeklong get-together.

Celebrating a birthday is really celebrating the life of someone you love. Paul Rigel's life is worth celebrating!!
